Joaquin Hernandez Snr began Café Hernandez in Sydney in 1972 having been quality controller in his country of origin - Spain. Café Hernandez in Sydney has been associated with the roasting of superior coffee blends, which are supplied to restaurants, cafes, hotels and offices.

It is also well known for its bohemian café at Potts Point where you can sample the aromatic blends first hand. Cafe Hernandez is committed to a tradition of service and quality maintained by its family and extended family being staff.

The café at Potts Point is open 24 hours, seven days a week throughout the year.  How do we open such long hours for so many years?.... The great coffee keeps us going.

Hernandez Cafe Restaurant has closed to allow us to focus on the roasting of coffee but Madison Cafe Bar Restaurant has opened at the Burton Street location and we are certain owner Ray and the team will take very good care of you - we recommend you go and check it out
